ABOUT ROY CONVENTION CENTER AT HILL AIRFORCE BASE

This project of Standard Drywall Inc. involved the construction of a two-story research and development center for Northrop Grumman Military Contractor located next to Hill Airforce Base in Roy, Utah. The center is owned by Sunset Ridge Development and the general contractor for the project was R&O Construction. 

The scope of work for the project included metal stud framing for interior and exterior walls and ceilings, exterior sheathing, drywall installation and finishing, firestopping, acoustical caulking, plywood installation, Rfoil radiant barrier installation on secure walls, and hollow metal door frame installation with grouting for STC frames.

The project was a new build and was delivered through the design-build delivery method. The primary roles of the project included metal stud framing, exterior sheathing, and drywall installation and finishing. The project was completed in June 2022 and was focused on the research and development sector.
