Description:

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) serves children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, or trauma. The expansion project nearly doubled the center’s footprint, creating dedicated spaces for forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling, family advocacy, and community support within a welcoming, trauma-informed environment. The addition includes thoughtfully designed outdoor areas for play and reflection, reinforcing the center’s mission to foster safety, healing, and dignity.

The new space enhances the center’s ability to deliver coordinated services under one roof, reducing client stress and strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration. Updated therapy and waiting areas, staff support spaces, and flexible meeting rooms improve community resources while creating a calm, inclusive setting for children and families during some of their most difficult moments.
